We offer numerous recreational activities for the children of Tinton Falls, and we continue to add new programs to our exciting lineup. As programs draw near, we will post information about them along with the registration form.
The Following Activities Will Take Place During The
Winter 2011 Season:
Instructional Basketball: This is an instructional league for children in Kindergarten and First Grade. Registration is from November 1st through November 30th. Program dates are: January 7, 21, 28, February 4, 11, and 25th.
Kindergarten: This is an instructional co-ed program held on Saturday Mornings. Exact program times are based upon registration. This program will be held at the Atchison School. The fee is $66.00.
1st Grade: This will be a co-ed program consisting for 1/2 hour practice session followed by a game on Saturday afternoons. Exact times will be based upon registration. This program will be held at the Tinton Falls Middle School. The fee is $72.00.
Team Basketball: The Recreation Basketball Program is a league for Tinton Falls participants to play with and against each other. Practice sessions will begin mid-week in December. Games will start in January and be held on Friday evenings and Saturday's. Team parity is stressed, in order to created teams with equal level of play since this is an in house league. Mandatory Evaluations will be held on Saturday, Novemeber 19, 2011 at the Tinton Falls Middle School. You will be notified of your time slot based on grade level.
Each team will consist of 8 players: 3/4 Boys, 5/6 Boys, 7/8 Boys, 4/5 Girls, 6/7/8 Girls. Player fee is $90.00. Register promptly to insure placement-NO late registration will be taken unless to complete teams of 8. Registration begins October 31, 2011 and will ebd November 9, 2011. Please be aware that registration may close prior to Novemeber 9th, as registration is limited to equal teams.
2nd Grade Boys and 2/3 Girls- Each team will consist of 8 to 10 players. Registration begins October 31st through November 10, 2011. Register early to insure team placement. Player fee is $80.00.
FAMILY RATE: This rate applies to families who have multiple children in our Basketball Program and their total player fees are $250.00 or more.
