The project developed a parcel of land obtained through Green Acres funding. The 37.37-acre site includes Lots 1, 13 and 17 in Block 123 and is situated adjacent to the Garden State Parkway and West Park Avenue.
The project improvements include an active recreation complex suitable for all ages including practice football fields, softball field, basketball courts and a playground. Also included will be passive recreation featuring jogging and walk paths, and soft nature trails through wooded areas along wetlands and along a picturesque pond.
Overall Site Area: 37.37 acres.
Parking: 2 Parking lots with a total combined capacity of 176 cars.
Playing Fields:
1 Softball field.
2 Basketball courts
2 Practice football fields.
Tot Lot: Age appropriate with a possible future interactive water play area.
Other:
Passive waterfront development along a pond.
