Library History

The Tinton Falls Library was organized in 1961 as a private corporation (the New Shrewsbury Public Library Association) in accordance with NJ library laws. The name was changed to Tinton Falls Public Library in 1975. The present site (adjacent to the Tinton Falls Middle School) is the library's third location.
The library is a member of the Monmouth County and New Jersey State Library systems.
