Tinton Falls Afghan to help celebrate our 50th year!
The Tinton Falls Library is celebrating its 50th anniversary, and we thank you for joining us in our celebration! The Tinton Falls Library Association is offering an opportunity for members of the community to have a lovely warm afghan woven with images of familiar landmarks that are representative of the unique history, character and diversity of our community. Afghans are available with images in Cranberry Red, in Hunter Green and in Williamsburg Blue; all on a cream background. The images are: the Old Grist Mill, the historic district sign, the Falls, the Tinton Falls baby, St. Thomas AME Zion Church, the Tinton Falls Library and the Crawford House. Starting Monday, December 13, 2010 afghans can be ordered in person at the library or by mailing an order form with payment. Payment can be made in cash or by check. Purchase price is $40.00. Afghans will be delivered to the library for pick up within a week of ordering. Click here for "Afghan Order Form"
Library employees Christine Anderson and Brenda Walenczyk hold up a sample of the Afghan created to celebrate the 50th anniversary of founding of the Tinton Falls Library.
