                                          Thursday    9:30am to 7:00pm
                                           Friday        9:30am to 4:00pm
                                           Saturday 10:00am to 2:00pm

We are located in front of the Middle School on Tinton Avenue, just south of the intersection with Sycamore Avenue. (Directions to the Library) Though we look small, we’re bigger than you think and we offer a great service! Library cards are free to all residents. Come by and pick up your card and meet your neighbors, too. "Wireless Hot Spot"

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENTS  

  • Special Wednesday programs at 4:15 pm. For all ages. Registration required.  
    • July 28: Rizzo’s Reptiles: Educational reptile presentation including environmental awareness. 
    • August 4: The Shark Zone: Are you brave enough to dig for shark teeth? Are sharks dangerous? Learn about the life of sharks with slides, crafts and activities.
  • Learn to Knit: Easy knitting lessons for parents and children. Tuesdays, July 6 - August 31, 2-3 pm. Learn to knit, purl and make a cotton washcloth. You must supply your own materials; One pair size 7 needles and one skein Sugar n’Cream cotton by Lily. Registration required, limited to 10 participants, grades 4 and up.
  • August 11: “Piccirillo Sciencetelling’s The Curse of the Mutating Hand!” Our grand finale summer picnic for ages 2-grade 5 Vacation Reading Club. Invitation only, for all children who complete the requirements of the 2010 Vacation Reading Club. Once again, our favorite summer reading party entertainer is back! Showtime is at 11:30am, followed by games, awards, food and lots of fun!
  • August 12: Kid’s Choice Pizza Party by invitation only. For finishers of the Kid’s Choice Vacation Reading Program. 2:30-3:30 pm.
