Our Mission: To reduce and eliminate the incidence, prevalence, and impact of alcoholism and drug abuse in Tinton Falls through planning for and purchasing of services, projects, and programs that provide education and prevention. To reduce and eliminate through prevention, education, and alternative methods, the behavior that causes and effects juvenile delinquency. The alliance committee will function as a force for change, striving to be well informed, in identifying aspects of the problem, and seeking prevention strategies. Here is a sampling of what the Alliance is planning : - Community Day
- Junior Police Academy for students in grades 7-11 for an intensive 2 week experience.
- Peer Mediation program at MRHS
- Peer Leadership
- DARE
- 8th Grade trip to residential drug treatment program
- Program for students soon to be high school freshman needing summer school and provided tracking and mentoring throughout their 4 years.
- Always a resource for information and advocacy
