Open Space Tours
"Open to the Public"
The Tinton Falls Open Space Committee would like to provide an opportunity for the residents of Tinton Falls to explore and enjoy the natural beauty being preserved within our borough, by a guided walk through the properties we own. These walking tours will typically meet at Borough Hall at 9AM and last for approximately 2 hours. In addition to scenic views, the tours will also highlight recent projects of the committee, including the green trails project.

Hike and Geocaching-
Sunday, March 25, 2012 10:30am to 12:00pm
Join us as we hike the Riverdale West trail
and have our “experts” teach you geocaching. Geocaching is an outdoor activity
in which the participants use GPS techniques to hide and seek containers called
“geocaches” or “caches.” The typical cache contains a logbook and items for
trading, usually toys or trinkets of little value. You may bring your
TomTom, Garmen, or smart phone as some have capabilities to determine latitude
and longitude. If not, you may share with us. The trail is
relatively easy, short, and good for all ages. Parking is at the soccer
fields across the street.
