Council Presentations...

At the February 15, 2011 Borough Council meeting the Mayor and Council made three presentations:

The first presentation, Mayor Skudera read a Proclamation acknowledging the longtime work and dedication of one of the Borough's employees who will be retiring this year after 31 years of service, JoAnn White.  Friends, family and fellow employees along with many residents in the audience also wished JoAnn the best of everything by their standing ovation.  Mayor Skudera and Council President Gary Baldwin presented JoAnn with a bouquet of flowers and personnelly thanked her for all of her years of service and dedication.

The second presentation, Council President Gary Baldwin read Resolution 11-035 which thanked longtime volunteer Beth Hessek for her dedication and service to the Borough of Tinton Falls.  Beth had resigned from her position as C.E.R.T. Coordinator and Local Emergency Planning Committee.  Beth also served as Chairperson for the Community Activities Committee and Neighborhood Watch Committee.  Friends and fellow employees along with many residents in the audience also wished Beth the best of everything by their standing ovation.  Mayor Skudera and Council President Gary Baldwin presented Beth with a bouquet of flowers and thanked her for all of her years of volunteer service.

The third and last presentation of the night, Mayor Mike Skudera read a Proclamation celebrating the Tinton Falls Library's 50th Anniversary this year.  Mayor Skudera and Council President Gary Baldwin presented the Proclamation to the Library representatives, Linda Zucaro, President and Brian Perry, VP Board of Trustees.  The Library has scheduled a rededication/open house on Wednesday, February 23, 2011 from 7-9pm.  Also planned is a luncheon to celebrate this milestone at Branches in West Long Branch on Sunday, March 27, 2011 from 1-4pm.  See Library webpage for more details.
