The Committee

The Technical Advisory Committee was established in August 2006 by Borough Ordinance No.06-1193. The Committee meets at Borough Hall on the 1st Wednesday of the month at 7:30 pm. The Committee consists of volunteers, appointed by Mayor and Council, whose purpose is to provide expert advice to the administration on technological issues. (The first official meeting was held on October 19th, 2006).

The recommendations of the Committee are advisory opinions only and are not binding on any official in the Borough of Tinton Falls. No member of the Committee has the authority to bind, contract for, or in any way encumber any assets of the Borough of Tinton Falls in furtherance of the procurement of any technology recommended.

The Technical Advisory Committee is also deemed the Cable Television Advisory Committee as intended under Section 22-1 of the Tinton Falls General Ordinances and will undertake the duties and responsibilities under that ordinance for all items related to the Cable Television franchise granted by the Borough.
