Junior Police Academy
Graduating Class of 2009
Each year the Tinton Falls Police Department organizes the Junior Police Academy program which ran from July 27th to August 14th. This year there were 19 cadets who spent three weeks obtaining experiences in areas like K-9 training, water rescues, target shooting, forensic studies and physical training. Besides being an education program, the cadets benefitted from the program by an increase in their self confidence and understanding of team work. The program also provided planned events to Ellis Island, Statue of Liberty and Great Adventure.
