The first phase of sanitary sewer pipe replacement has been completed by Caruso Excavating on behalf of CJS Investments, the developer of the Rose Glenn @ Tinton Falls residential development. The temporary roadway paving is complete and will remain in place for a period of 4 to 6 months to allow for normal utility trench settlement. The developer is responsible to mill and repave the utility trench to match the surrounding pavement elevation. The Borough is currently negotiating with the developer to have the full width of West Park Avenue resurfaced within their limits of work.

The second phase of sanitary sewer pipe replacement is being completed by the Borough of Tinton Falls. This work consists of approximately 800 linear feet of 12" sewer pipe extended from the Rose Glenn @ Tinton Falls entrance towards Shafto Road. This phase of work will provide sewer service to the American Red Cross Building, Wawa and various undeveloped lots on West Park Avenue. The plans and specifications are currently available for purchase to prospective bidders. Bids are due on July 26, 2012 at 11:00 am, with an anticipated contract award at the August 7th Council Meeting. It is anticipated construction could start by early September 2012.
