Hurricane Sandy Could Affect NJ

Prepare, Plan and Stay Informed

Friday October 26, 2012-

Hurricane Sandy is projected to impact New Jersey.  The forecast at this time suggests that the storm will have the greatest effect on our area Monday night and continue with high winds and rain throughout the day on Tuesday. It is important to prepare for the storm before it hits. Assemble a kit of emergency supplies and create an emergency plan.  If you intend to relocate to another location or you intend on housing additional family members or friends, please complete your arrangements before Monday night.  There is a good chance that our area will experience loss of power. Prepare accordingly.

TFOEM will provide updates and CodeRed messages as needed.  Visit the Tinton Falls website’s homepage to register for CodeRed messages and to find updates. Tune into local radio and television for current information.
