The Tinton Falls Police Department will be hosting its annual Jr. Police Academy from July 20th to August 7th for students that will have finished 7th grade through 10th grade. The application deadline has been extended to June 4th.  This program is FREE. CLICK HERE for the Application.

The Oceanview Reinforcement Project involves building a new 230 kV transmission line between the existing Larrabee Substation in Howell to the existing Oceanview Substation in Neptune to enhance customer reliability, add redundancy and meet the growing demand for electricity.

DPW NEWS:  Attached is a "Job Site Observation" for January 26 & January 27, 2015.  Typically these reports take in account the Personal Protective Equipment for each employee.  It also reports on good Job Site practices.  In the case of January 26 & January 27, 2015, our Department of Public Works received high grades from the Monmouth County Joint Insurance Fund for their snow clearing operations and emergency management.  Job well done DPW!

Notice:  Route 18 / NB & SB / MP 14.44 to 16.56 / Tinton Falls Borough and Colts Neck Township / Monmouth County will be affected by guiderail installation and removal and replacement as needed to protect from crossover accidents.  The work is in the median, however, there will be temporary lane closures as needed during allowable hours.  The proposed start date of the new project is Monday, May 18, 2015
