The Municipal Election will be held during the General Election on November 5, 2019. Please see the attached for more details of which offices will be up for election.

should be advised that as part of the Borough’s current Road Improvement
Program with Earle Asphalt, the Contractor will be installing new curb bump outs
along Heritage Boulevard at the intersections with Bernard Drive, CannonballDrive, and Annapolis Street. New striping along Heritage Boulevard is
also proposed. The work is being done as a traffic calming measure in an
effort to reduce speeding. Work is scheduled to begin on or about March
22nd. Motorists are advised to use caution while getting
acclimated to the new traffic patterns.
HOW TO APPLY / TINTON FALLS PD Firearms Application & Registration System (FARS)
The State of New Jersey is now accepting firearms applications for Firearms Purchaser Identification Cards and Pistol Purchase Permits electronically. The following web site will allow an applicant to apply for Initial and Duplicate Firearms Purchaser Identification Cards and Permits to Purchase a Handgun:

Please be advised that the recently constructed traffic signal at the intersection of Shafto Road (County Route 547) and the Mazza Recycling Center driveway is in the process of being activated. At 9:00am on Tuesday, February 19th, the County will activate the signal in flash mode. During this period, the signal will flash yellow on Shafto Road and red on the Mazza driveway. The flash period will last for one week to give motorists time to adjust to the new signal. The signal will be fully activated to standard red/yellow/green operations at 9:00am on Tuesday, February 26th.
