12/6/2011 - Flags At Half Staff In Remembrance of Pearl Harbor Day
Monmouth County Freeholders passed Resolution 11-982 requesting government agencies in Monmouth County on Wednesday, December 7th fly flags at half-staff in rememberance and to honor all those who died in the attack on Pearl Harbor, December 7, 1941. On August 23, 1994 Congress designated December 7th as National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day. This December 7th marks the 70th Anniversary of Pearl Harbor Day.
