Recreation Department offers a selection of programs for Tinton Falls
residents.
Youth
sport programs offered for boys and girls in kindergarten through grade
eight consist of:
basketball
wrestling
baseball
softball
soccer
cheerleading.

2008 FALL SOCCER INSTRUCTIONAL PROGRAM
This
program is for children entering kindergarten, 1st & 2nd grade in the Fall of 2008.
This is an instructional program provided by the staff members of United Soccer Academy, along with our parent coaches.
The Program will be held on Saturdays in September & October.
Registration is held from May 27th through August 1st.

2008 FALL SOCCER TEAM PROGRAM
This
program is for children entering 3rd through 8th grade in Fall 2008.
This is a
traveling recreation league associated with the Northern Monmouth Soccer League (NMSL),
playing nearby towns such as Little Silver, Oceanport and Fair Haven.
Practices are held midweek and games on Saturday beginning
September 6th through the beginning of November.

IN CONJUNCTION WITH EQUISHARE USA
Join us this summer for a
horsemanship program running:
Monday-Friday, July 14-July 18
This
program is for children 3-6 years old as well as 7-11 years old. It provides an exciting introduction to the
world of equines in a fun-filled atmosphere.

MAD SCIENCE
August 18 thru August 22
Mad Science is an enrichment program that provides an
opportunity for students to gain knowledge through an interactive educational
experience. Our way of teaching will promote an interest in science by sparking
children’s imaginations with engaging,
hands-on projects & fascinating demonstrations.

Instructions for 5 year olds...............Teams for 6 & 7 year olds.

| One
and two week sports camps consisting of field hockey, track and field,
soccer, tennis, basketball and baseball are also available for youth in
the evening hours during their summer vacation.
The
Borough also holds many after school activities such as arts and
crafts,
and bowling. The recreation department holds a summer camp over the
summer
for children who have completed kindergarten through grade eight. The
camp
is held from 9AM-1PM, Monday through Friday and engages campers in
outdoor
and indoor games, arts and crafts, sciences, and special trips. A
program
for those ages 4 & 5 is also offered.
Other
events such as her Daughter Dinner Dance, Egg Hunt, Halloween
Festivities,
Mother Son Day Trip, and Holiday Festivities are also held by the
department.
Adult and senior programs are also available.

MRHS Baseball Group III State Champs
Mayor Maclearie
presented the Monmouth Regional High School Baseball Champions with a
resolution congratulating them on their achievement at the Borough
Council meeting on July 19, 2005.
The picture below shows Mayor Maclearie congratulating the team members
who attended rhe meeting.

The Tinton Falls Middle School Boys Basketball
Team, The Panthers, finished the 2004 - 2005 seasom with a 24 - 1
record.
For the first time in the School's history, they are, all three:
- Division
Champions
- Shore
Intermediate School Basketball League Champions
- Run
for the Roses Purple Division Champions
