Tinton Falls Borough Council is seeking qualified residents who are interested in being considered for appointment for a recently vacated seat on the Borough Council.

To be eligible for consideration, an applicant must:

• Be a registered voter in the Borough of Tinton Falls
• Have resided in Tinton Falls for at least one year immediately preceding the date of appointment. N.J.S.A. 40A:9-1.13
• Meet all other qualifications required to hold municipal elective office under New Jersey law.

Interested individuals must submit a resume and/or a letter of interest describing their interest in serving on the Borough Council and the qualifications they would bring to the position.

All application materials must be received by the Municipal Clerk no later than 1:00 p.m. on Friday, September 4, 2026.

Applications submitted by mail must be received by the Municipal Clerk by the deadline. A postmark dated September 4 will not satisfy the submission deadline if the materials are received afterward.

The Borough Council will review the submissions and select an individual to fill the vacancy in accordance with applicable New Jersey law.
