Notice of Public Hearing – Monmouth County Municipal Park Improvement Grant Program

Notice is hereby given that a Public Hearing will be held for the purpose of receiving comments on the Walz Park Improvements grant application to Monmouth County for Open Space Trust Funds under the Monmouth County Municipal Open Space Grant Program.  The Public Hearing will be held on Tuesday, June 11, 2024 during the regularly scheduled Borough Council meeting at 7:30 P.M., at which time all persons who may be interested therein will be given an opportunity to be heard.  The meeting will be held at the Borough of Tinton Falls Municipal Court Room located at 556 Tinton Avenue, Tinton Falls, NJ 07724.  Written comments may also be submitted and will be accepted by the Municipal Clerk prior to the hearing date and time.

The Borough of Tinton Falls desires to obtain Monmouth County Municipal Park Improvement Grant Program funds in order to construct various new improvements to Walz Park such as a parking lot, restroom building, walking trails, playground, and fishing platform.  The site is located at 97 Shark River Road in Tinton Falls (designated as Block 145; Lots 28.01 and 29.01).
