Reporting Process

 The MCRC has launched a new procedure for reporting Landfill Odor Complaints. Please see the steps below and the most recent notification update using the following link.

MCRC Landfill Odor Reporting Instructions

• Call the hotline number 732-559-ODOR (732-559-6367) 24 hours a day - 7 days a week, or use this link, to report an odor complaint directly to a Monmouth County Environmental Health Investigator.

• Calls made between business hours Monday-Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm are directed to investigators onsite at the MCRC.

• Calls made outside of this timeframe will be connected to an on-call investigator responding to Odor Complaints.

• Please allow for an Investigator response time of approximately 30 minutes from the time of your reporting call.
