To report complaints, comments or concerns pertaining to the Monmouth County Reclamation Center, you can also contact the office of County Commissioner Director Thomas Arnone via e-mail Thomas.arnone@co.monmouth.nj.us
MCRC Landfill Odor Reporting Instructions
- Call 24-hour NJDEP Hotline at 1-877 WARN DEP (1-877-927-6337).
- NJDEP will take your information and either send out their own investigator or transfer the complaint to the Monmouth County Health Department for follow-up.
- If transferred to the Health Department, they will call you to confirm the odor is still present and then send an inspector to your property.
- Complete the inspector’s “Statement of Complaint Form” for NJDEP/County records. This is needed to file an official complaint.
- Please take note of the complaint number assigned to your case when reporting to NJDEP/County. This is a minimum requirement when submitting the online form on the Borough website.
- Complete the Borough’s online Landfill Report Log to summarize and record all information.
- Retain your confirmation email for your records.
